Handmade With Love

All of my pottery is handmade with love in my studio using a variety of techniques from hand building, throwing on the wheel, and custom air release molds. Once the vessel is formed, each piece is then trimmed and hand formed handles are attached before allowing the piece to fully dry. At the “bone dry phase” the pottery is loaded into the kiln for the bisque firing to remove gases and solidify the clay. Once the firing is complete, the pottery is prepped for glazing, this is where each piece is hand sanded and cleaned to remove any debris or dust before glazing. The pieces are then glazed and hand painted using non-toxic and lead free glazes and then fired for their final firing.
